No prior experience needed! New members complete a free safety orientation.

What is included with a workbench?

Each workbench comes with dedicated electrical outlets and a whiteboard. Storage includes a storage rack.

What does "shared" workbench mean?

Part-Time members share a workbench and storage space with other part-time members. Workbenches are available on a first-come, first-served basis during your allotted hours.

Is there a contract or commitment?

All memberships are month-to-month with no long-term contract. Cancel anytime with 7 days notice.

Can I use SF Workspace for my small business or freelance work?

Yes. Many members are small business owners, product designers, and creative professionals who use SF Workspace as their primary fabrication studio or prototyping shop.

What kinds of projects can I work on?
